What to Expect
Join and enjoy lunch together at the Roux Diner, located next to UChicago in one of the city’s most historic neighborhoods. Roux Diner is Chef Charlie McKenna’s New Orleans-inspired, a new casual restaurant in Hyde Park. At the counter, order your own lunch off the Menu (on-your-own tab, pay with cash or credit card); the staff will serve your lunch at your table.
Indoor and Patio seating available.
How to Join
Registration is Required. Registration closes on Tuesday, June 14th at 4:00 p.m. Cancel your registration by Tuesday, June 14th at 4:00 p.m. Face Masks Optional. CHPV COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Record on file. Space is limited.
Getting There
Transportation on your own. Roux Diner is accessible by CTA bus’s, walking and
street parking (fees may apply) on East 55th Street and the side streets. To CHPV Events: Associate and Full CHPV members may request transportation via email at servicerequest@chpv.org or calling 773-363-1919. Requests must be submitted by Friday, June 10th at 4:00 p.m. If available.
