CHPV NEWS!

Announcing Online Membership Renewals!

Online Membership Renewal Prompt
Your membership with CHPV is very important to us ... and we've listened! By popular demand, we are pleased to announce that current and expired CHPV members can now renew their membership online easily and securely! No more fussing with checks or rummaging for stamps and envelopes! (Of course, members who prefer to pay by check can continue to do so.)

If you are an active member with CHPV, you will now receive notices via email as your membership expiration date approaches. For the time being, we will continue to send printed renewal forms. Members will also have the option to continue receiving paper renewal forms as a preference (stay tuned for details about that).

To begin the online renewal process, simply click the link contained in the renewal notice email message. Renewing online is safe and easy. If you have purchased a ticket for a recent CHPV event, such as the monthly Drop-In luncheon, then renewing your membership online should be a breeze!

Important! Your renewal notice will be delivered to the email address on file for the primary member in your household. If you have a Household (Full or Associate) membership, only the primary member of your household membership will receive the renewal notice. Please contact us if you wish to change who the primary member is in your household membership.

We will soon release a video tutorial showing step-by-step how to renew your membership online.

Please contact Lucas or Laura if you have questions:

RSVP for a Reminder!
The November midterms will soon be upon us! Voting is your right; being informed and prepared is your responsibility! Catherine Mardikes of the League of Women Voters will discuss the League’s activities and share useful information for voting in the midterms this November as well as the municipal elections in February. We will also explore how best to evaluate judicial candidates and what impact the new Ward map will have for Chicago voters.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy. We empower voters and defend democracy through advocacy, education, and litigation, at the local, state, and national levels.
