VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are many ways to volunteer with CHPV. Click on each of the following to explore and learn what's most appealing to you!
Volunteer for Events — CHPV hosts social gatherings and supportive community programs throughout the year. Explore our current volunteer sign-up opportunities and check back regularly for additional upcoming events. Volunteering for an event is an easy entry to volunteering, requiring a minimal time commitment and little to no training.
Volunteer on a Committee — Joining a committee is an excellent way to volunteer and be involved. While CHPV membership is encouraged to participate in a committee, it is not required. Learn more about CHPV's many committees and their responsibilities.
Volunteer as a Driver — Transportation is our most frequently requested service. We are always recruiting volunteer drivers to pick up members and drive them to and from various destinations. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity, letting you sign up for times convenient to you.
Volunteer as a Village Visitor — Village Visitor volunteers are paired with older adults in the community to share activities and build friendships in support of healthy living and aging. This opportunity is a bit more of a commitment, though you can find a time convenient to you, make a lasting impact, and it looks great on a resume.
Volunteer as a Service Provider — Access to CHPV's services is a crucial component maintaining independence as we age healthfully and happily. And CHPV's services rely on volunteers like you. Explore our many services and find the right match for your time and interests.
